How to activate an eSIM?

Connect your device to the internet Wi-Fi.

Scan the unique QR code from the voucher with your device’s camera, following the on-screen instructions. The downloaded profile can be active on only one device at a time. The profile can be downloaded up to five times.

Activate your eSIM number. After successfully setting up the eSIM, make an outgoing call, send an SMS, or connect to the internet, and your !hej number will be ready to use.

What is !hej eSIM?

An eSIM is a built-in digital SIM that allows mobile devices to access any mobile network without a physical card. Everything that works with a standard SIM card also works with an eSIM.

Which devices support eSIM?

Most modern mobile devices today support eSIM technology. It is often possible to use both a physical SIM card and an eSIM number. In your device Settings (network settings), look for the option to add a mobile network otherwise an eSIM profile. If you see an option to add an eSIM, then you can use/buy an eSIM number.

On a single device you can have several eSIM profiles installed at the same time and activate/deactivate them as needed. To activate the same eSIM profile on another device, you must first d e l e t e the existing profile on the device you are currently using, and then activate it on the other device.

Can eSIM be used abroad?

You can use !hej eSIM abroad. When connecting to a foreign operator's network, we will notify you by SMS about the price of calls, SMS messages, and internet for the country you are in, as well as about the option to activate a roaming plan.

If you are abroad and want to activate another operator's eSIM profile, do not d e l e t e (D e l e t e) your existing !hej eSIM profile in your mobile device Settings; instead, just temporarily turn it off (D I S A B L E). That way, when you return to Bosnia and Herzegovina, you can re-enable (E N A B L E) the use of your !hej eSIM profile.
